Online, there are volumes upon volumes of websites offering clairvoyant psychic readings. Although there are various forms wherein you can have your fortune read or your spiritual issues addressed, many people still prefer having their Tarot cards laid out for them and interpreted. It does not matter if the cards are spread for personal, financial or prophetic reasons. The deal is that, there are lots of people who have developed affinity with Tarot cards over the years. This may sound unbelievable, but a good estimate of the people who prefer clairvoyant psychic readings via Tarot card spreads are initially lured by curiosity. After all, who would not want to know what the pictograms on the cards are insinuating for them? Afterwards, some people regularly consult with their chosen psychic over other concerns, but many find themselves subscribing to online tutorials on how to read the cards on their own.

The practice of clairvoyant psychic readings via Tarot is not a new thing, of course. Tarot reading has been prevalent since the 18th century. What is new is the fact that there are now more people who want to learn Tarot reading as a hobby, as a form of education on symbolisms and even as a career. If you check out the websites offering clairvoyant psychic readings or numbers offering telephone psychic readings, you will actually see online tutorials, forums and even downloadable manuals available to the interested public. Tarot card reading can indeed be a gainful experience. If you are interested on how to perform your own clairvoyant psychic readings, or at least have a bit of knowledge about Tarot reading, here are 2 things you need to know before you actually study the mystical meanings of the Tarot pictograms.

1. The various spreads or how you deal out the cards have specific meanings on their own. Some spreads can have as little as 1 card – which is a standard way of “discerning” or representing the person you are reading for, (who by the way, might also be referred to as the subject or querent.) Some can have 3 or more cards. Tarot spreads are usually dictated by what the querent wants to gain from the experience. So knowing how many cards to place on the table is also an important factor in clairvoyant psychic readings.
It should be noted though that the entire deck of cards is not normally laid out on the table. For starters, that will take a long time to interpret; and secondly, this would defeat the premise that the deck of card (at that moment) represents one part of the querent’s life.

2. The shape of the spread has its supposed mystical meaning as well. If you notice in some readings, there is a specific pattern that the psychic uses for a certain type of question. For example: the mirror spread (8 cards, with 6 cards lined up horizontally in pairs of two, and 2 cards lined up vertically on the side) is usually used for questions about current relationships and marriage. One side of the spread usually represents one person, while the other represents his or her partner in life. The middle cards are usually opened in pairs. Matching cards usually denote a harmonious relationship while contradicting cards may insinuate some relationship issues.

In order to perform successful readings, you need to know the spread (and the number of cards per spread) beforehand.
