In talking with some fellow bloggers from the psychic/paranormal industry, I found that telephone psychic readings get a bad rap. Let alone the fact that many people have a prejudice for free psychic readings.

From all these conversations I learned that the most common reason for the distrust was based off of the all the fraudulent psychics that pose as the real thing in an effort to get money from gullible ‘marks’. This has begun to perpetrate the falsehood that psychic phenomenon is not real, let alone useful for helping others.

But is this belief founded in any reality?

Of course not. Because a few frauds go on infomercials and get publicly outed, does not in any way implicate ALL psychics. Let alone a subsection of the industry, namely telephone psychic readings.

It has never made any sense to blame the actions of a few onto a group at large. This is akin to outright prejudice. I find myself angry and beside myself with frustration at the thought of those that would help others, being defamed and called outright phonies and liars.

The truth is that the industry has some real psychics and some fakes. It is up to us to discern between the two and act for ourselves.

If you really want free telephone psychic readings then you will have to do some extra digging. Legitimate companies and psychics exist, but you better do your research. Don’t get duped by one phony and then discount everyone because their actions and your mistake. Next time just be more careful the next you get telephone psychic readings.
